A wiki is a collaborative writing tool, and in STS 319 it will allow us to work together on defining a set of terms, concepts, and definitions. In this class, we'll use a wiki to create a knowledgebase of unfamiliar, interesting, and/or important terms. As you do your reading for this class, you will no doubt come upon terms that you've never encountered before. It's likely that your classmates will find these terms interesting as well. When this happens, you can create a wiki entry. Throughout this class, you will be required to work on at least one wiki entry per week.
To ensure that entries to the wiki are consistent, our entries will follow an EntryTemplate. If you would like to edit or add to a wiki entry, please follow the guidelines in the Editing Guidelines template.
You can use the search box in the upper right-hand corner to search this wiki, but you may also want to look at the index page for a list of all entries.
Thanks to Jim Brown for his model for using wikis in the classroom, on which this wiki is based.
